We distinguish our confirmed design choices from engineering targets as we prepare for production.

- Designed to pair with phones and smartwatches that support Bluetooth headphone audio. Call support depends on the connected device. No Wi-Fi. CrossVox App controls require a paired phone.
- Controls
- Planned behavior: one press pauses audio already playing, or enters Pray when no media is playing. Two presses open Today for You. App shortcuts require the CrossVox App and a paired phone; integration and pocket or lock-screen operation still need validation. First-time permissions may require your phone. Volume and track selection remain on your phone.
- Charging design
- Magnetic connector with flat contacts flush with the rear housing.
- Wearable design
- Compact, stemless in-ear earbuds, attached to the necklace, with a rear sliding adjuster. One necklace length planned; final fit measurements to follow.
- Listening & call noise reduction
- Design targets: active noise cancellation (ANC) for listening, and environmental noise cancellation (ENC) for calls. Performance and acoustic tuning are pending sample validation.
- ANC controls
- Planned behavior: ANC starts on and remembers your last setting. Switch it on or off through the connected CrossVox App, with no paid subscription required for this control. Without the App, V1 keeps its current ANC setting; Bluetooth listening and calls remain available. Hardware/App integration is pending validation.
- Battery targets
- At least 8 hours of music playback with ANC on; at least 8 hours of calls with ENC on. Separate per-charge engineering targets, not measured results. Final runtime and test conditions will be published after validation.
- Splash-resistance target
- IPX4 for the complete device, including the pendant, earbuds and connections. Pending testing; not a certified rating. Not designed for swimming or immersion.
- Housing size target
- 42 × 28 × 8.0 mm, pending engineering validation.
- Still being validated
- Final weight, fit, battery results, noise-cancellation performance, Bluetooth specifications and hardware-to-app shortcuts. We’ll publish verified details as testing progresses.

Is this ready to ship?
This is a Deposit reservation for hardware in development. Estimated dispatch from our US warehouse is January 2027. We’ll share production progress and email you about material changes. This is not a guaranteed arrival date.
Which features need the CrossVox App?
Bluetooth listening and calls work without a CrossVox App account or subscription. Planned Faith Button behavior: one press pauses playing audio, or enters Pray when nothing is playing. Two presses open Today for You without starting audio or recording. App shortcuts require the CrossVox App and a paired phone; pocket and lock-screen use, media-state detection and first-time permissions remain to be validated.
Can I change my mind?
Your deposit is refundable within 7 days of payment. After that, change-of-mind cancellations are non-refundable. Refunds for project cancellation, shipping delays and rights required by applicable law remain available. After delivery, request a return within 14 days. Reasonable opened-product trials are accepted; return the complete product undamaged. Change-of-mind return shipping is your responsibility; we cover qualifying faulty, damaged or incorrect deliveries.

Which Bible translation is used?
English Daily Scripture reads the Berean Standard Bible (BSB). We chose it for clear listening and because the publisher makes the text available for audio use; that choice is not a judgment on other translations. The spoken passage comes from a verified Bible text, not from words invented by AI. CrossVox does not currently offer an in-app translation selector; a link to a Bible app lets you continue reading in the translation you prefer.
How is the daily explanation prepared?
Daily Scripture explanations are prepared in advance. A separate AI model reviews each draft for faithfulness to the passage, context and Christian meaning, and automated checks compare quoted Scripture with the source text. These checks reduce risk but are not a promise that every interpretation is perfect or has been approved by a pastor.
What guides AI prayer?
CrossVox centers prayer to God, the life and teaching of Jesus Christ, and Scripture, without claiming to represent one denomination. We do not train a custom theology model on people’s private prayers. Live responses follow written faith and safety rules, use verified Scripture when fitting, and are instructed to respect the tradition you name. The companion must not invent Bible quotations or promises about what God will do, or present itself as God or a pastor. Automated checks can catch some mistakes before a response is spoken, but an AI response is not a substitute for Scripture or pastoral care. See how prayer data is handled.
About the visuals
V1 is in pre-production. Product views, lifestyle scenes and packaging concepts illustrate the intended design, not a finished production unit or verified fit. Close-ups may be enlarged. Final dimensions, cord length, fit and packaging may evolve through validation.
Product films are design visualizations. App recordings show real software; the prayer demo uses a re-created user prompt and is edited for length.
